Day 1: THE BLOOD SUGAR RESET: Start your day with a protein-rich breakfast
In a short video, you'll learn how to eat to control cravings before they start. You'll better understand why blood sugar matters and how protein helps to keep it stable. You'll also learn why skipping breakfast sets the stage for cravings all day long. You'll get 5 recipes for high protein breakfasts as well as examples of dietitian approved grab and go options for those busy mornings.
Day 2: SNACK SWAP FOR SUSTAINED ENERGY
Swap your usual snack for a more nutrient dense combo of protein + healthy fat + fiber. You'll get a list of snacks to stock up on for your fridge, bag, car and desk so you can conquer the temptation to reach for junk.
Day 3: WATER BEFORE WILLPOWER
Drink 16 oz of water before your first meal and between meals. In a short video you'll learn how dehydration can be mistaken for hunger and why water alone is not always the best source of hydration. You'll learn how to figure out how much fluid you actually need and what liquids and foods actually count besides water. We'll touch on electrolytes and I'll give you insight into my favorite brand!
Day 4: POWER UP WITH MOVEMENT: Do a 10 minute walk or light movement after a meal
Even if you have a regular workout routine in place, this mini lesson will focus on why walking or movement after a meal supports blood sugar and hormone balance as well as helping to reduce cravings and stress.
Day 5: PAUSE BEFORE THE PANTRY: Take a 5 second pause before eating between meals
This lesson focuses on cravings vs. emotional hunger so you can know the difference. You'll understand emotional triggers and learn how discern what you actually need as you build mindful eating habits that prevent cravings but also support emotional hunger.
Day 6: FIBER FIX: Add 1 serving of a high fiber food to lunch or dinner
Fiber, like protein, is a game changer in supporting balanced blood sugar and energy. It also helps to keep you full after meals. You'll learn easy tricks to include it consistently and have access to a guide with the fiber content of different foods as well as some fun high fiber recipes.
Day 7: RESET RECAP
Time to reflect on changes in cravings, energy, and mood after taking some initial steps over the course of a week. While you will absolutely notice a difference, one week is just the beginning! We'll chat about your wins what changes you noticed most as well as what surprised you.
