Weeknight Kitchen Hack! Healthy meals don’t always need to be time consuming.
Keep pre-washed salad kits and containers of mixed greens on hand for busy weeknights when you don’t have the time or energy to wash or chop veggies from scratch. Rather than making the kit “as is” with the included dressing and toppings (there’s always way too much dressing compared to the amount of salad), combine with another bag of pre-washed greens and enhance the nutritional quality by adding a few other chopped veggies that you may have on hand. Top with some protein and you have a complete meal that takes no time at all, and is less expensive and much healthier than your average take out meal.
